Mock Trial Teams

Two teams from UNC Charlotte competed in the Grand Strand Mock Trial Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina University on October 15-16. The “A” team won third place in the tournament with a record of 6-2. Additionally, UNC Charlotte Political Science majors won 5 of the 12 individual awards. Senior Christopher Dong won Best Attorney, junior Bailey Russell won Best Witness, and sophomore major Elizabeth Kingaby won Best Witness and Best Attorney awards. On the “B” team, senior Sharea Holley won Best Witness. The teams will compete again in November at the Demon Deacon Invitational hosted by Wake Forest University.
